Mia Friends
About the Job
They’re all in their late 30s to early 40s. Open to ethnicity and diversity is encouraged. We’re looking for genuine warmth, individuality and believable long-term familiarity between the group. The dynamic should feel less like a curated friendship group and more like women who have known each other across multiple versions of themselvesand no longer need to impress one another. One friend may even have a visible disability or lived-in detail that naturally broadens the world of the film - such as perhaps a hearing aid, wheelchair or mobility aid etc. This should feel entirely matter-of-fact within the group dynamic. We’re looking for people who feel emotionally generous and naturally present on-screen. No one should feel overly polished or performative. The chemistry between them all should feel relaxed, unhurried and deeply comfortable. We’re looking for people who know how to sit in silence.
